Art in Sacred Space
Exploring the 7 Directions

Welcome to the circle of creation. These workshops are an invitation to remember, create, and connect. They offers a space where we can grow together through the wisdom of our ancestors and mother earth.
Through intuitive arts and shamanic meditation we will journey with the seven directions of medicine wheel and will explore all their gifts.
The medicine wheel is an ancient tool or system explored by our ancestors. It follows the movement of nature, the rotation of the sun and the changing of seasons.
Each direction invites us to connect with specific symbols, natural elements, and animal totems.
When we embrace the flow of creation, we can reconnect with our internal rhythm, discover who we are on a deeper level, and access the wisdom of life itself.
Each class will offer an opportunity to explore different creative tools and and relax with guided shamanic meditation. Additional audio recordings of nature connection practices will also be provided (one per each direction).
EAST: Envisioning the new - receiving guidance through intentions
SOUTH: Creating the flow - transformation into movement
WEST: Moving within:- introspection and letting go
NORTH: Embracing stillness - inner growth through contemplation
ABOVE: Connecting with the Sky - exploring the qualities of the Divine Masculine
BELOW: Connecting with the Earth - exploring the qualities of the Divine Feminine
CENTRE: Connecting with the Heart - merging the polarities into Oneness
Creating art in a sacred space allows us to explore our creative energy in a very profound way. The space supports and holds us tightly so that we can access the full potential of the creative process with much more grace and ease.
Where: St.Margaret's House (Studio 4.39), 151 London Road, Edinburgh
When: Tue 11th June - Tue 23rd July, 6-8pm
Exchange: £245/ or £220 (seven in-person classes + audio materials)
The course is offered on a sliding scale according to your income or budget. All the art materials will be provided.
**The course includes seven in-person classes and some extra audio recordings of nature connection practices, to unfold in your own time (optional).
The classes are open to everyone, as no experience in painting, art practices, or meditation is required.
Please bring a blanket, some water, and a notebook.
