Crab's Guidance

Updated: Oct 8, 2024

A few nights ago, a White Crab entered my dreams, probably for the first time. I explored it with art and writing and received some interesting guidance.

Moving side by side, flowing with the sea waves, Crab reminds us of the importance of trusting in the natural flow of creation and life. He knows when to hold on and when to let go. When to walk on the beach, hide underneath the sand, and return into the waves, if necessary.

His skin protects him. It protects the softness underneath. Despite its quite strong appearance, he hides a lot of vulnerability to its environment.

Where are you moving? Where are you heading? What is your direction at this time? He might ask.

"Remember the waves of the sea behind you. If you are tired of walking on the sand, return to the flowing waves and allow them to carry where you are meant to go."

Crab invites us to surrender to the flow of life and stop grasping at what is no longer serving us. It might also show us that the path sometimes is not linear and might require us to explore new ways of being and "walking" for ourselves and others.
